New Members

Early each season we hold an Open Day to welcome new bowlers or anyone interested in the game of bowls.

New members are welcome any time to play during the season April to September and over the winter period attend the social events and have a try indoors.

If you want a go or just someone to talk through the game with you, it's as easy as contacting one of the club officers or coaches.

Have a go with a friend or partner...

For information on the game of bowls view the "Roll up" section.

If you're not sure how to go about this use the contacts section with your question and we will respond and make sure we point you in the right direction.

Did you know?

King Henry VIII once banned lawn bowling for all but the wealthiest. The reason he gave was that workers were spending so much time at it that they were neglecting their jobs.

Luckily for today's players the ban was lifted in 1845, so we can all enjoy this sport.
